Frustration as your driving force forward
Frustration often builds up because you want something else and you're feeling stopped in some way.
Maybe this is you sending you signals to keep moving forward, to find ways around the circumstances that might be stopping you.

Used properly, frustration, anger or fear can be used as a driving force forward. Here are some steps for how to do that:
1. When you feel the charged emotion, take a deep breath and relax into it a bit. Don't let the emotion take over you. Instead use it to direct the energy of the emotion into the passion that's underneath it. 2. Next breathe that energy up from your core where it's sitting to move it through into every cell of you and into the air around you. |
3. Then ask 'What's this for? What's the potential this is pointing me towards?' Let the answer come to you through a sense of knowing (it's not a brain / thinking exercise - it's more of an automatic response). You'll know when you have your answer because you'll feel an aha or oh yes, and the flow of energy will align and move much more smoothly through you.
4. Make friends with this emotional energy and then ask 'What's one thing can Ido right now to move myself forward towards this potential?' If you get a 'but I can't because', set that to one side just for now and open up to possibilities you haven't thought of yet. |
